Let me introduce myself..
Hi Everyone & thank you for stopping by, my name is Avril, I live in Crecora, Co. Limerick with my husband Ger & my son Sam, our daughter Colleen is 26 & flew the nest a few years ago.
Let me tell you a bit about how Memories Forever started. My background was always in Administration until it came to an end when I developed Fibromyalgia which is widespread musculoskeletal pain. I was out of work for over a year when I discovered sewing and I absolutely loved it. I took to it like a duck to water.
I took some classes, learnt from YouTube & books. I then decided I wanted to develop & learn more about the skill of Sewing so I enrolled for a two & half year City & Guilds Design & Craft Stitched Textiles in Patchwork & Quilting.
I was contacted by a lady in late 2015 to make a quilt from her Dad’s clothes and that is where Memories Forever by Avril began.
My hope is that I can bring you comfort with your Memory Forever.
